Edge Audio & Video Ltd. (Edge AV) are dedicated to protecting the privacy and security of our customers and website users. This policy outlines the types of information that Edge AV may collect about you, from you and how we use that information.

How we collect information

Edge AV collect information in a number of ways, for instance, when you use our website, contact us by landline telephone, email, mobile or when meeting us in person. For example, if you have provided us with an mail address, you will receive emails from us etc.

When sending Edge AV information via the Internet, it takes many connections to facilitate this, therefore, we cannot guarantee your connection is completely secure, however, once we have received the information, we use strict procedures and security features to try to protect your information from unauthorised access.

The type of information we collect

Contact information: if you make an enquiry with us, whether online, by telephone or in person, we will collect information about you which may include: name, address, landline and/or mobile number(s) and/or email address(s).

Transaction information: If you pay us for goods or support services, our payments are processed by a third party (Stripe Inc) who specialise in secure payment transactions. We do not retain your card information.

Other information that you provide to us: This could be information requested via email to facilitate your project and services, for example, plans, drawings or schematics etc

How we use your Personal Data

Edge AV uses the information collected from you to provide quotations, maintain communication, on-going support and maintenance of any of the installed systems for the duration of the contracted works with us.

We will only use your information for legitimate business purposes, these may include some or all of the following:

  • Provide you with information, customer service, product and services that you have requested
  • Send you messages by text or email such as appointment information or technical support
  • Process an order or complete a transaction
  • To administer marketing promotions
  • To provide remote support services

Edge AV store information on secure servers operated by EU based, GDPR compliant service providers such as Microsoft 365, Google, Xero, Dropbox.

Complaints

Should a situation arise and you wish to make a complaint about how your personal data is being processed by Edge AV, you have the right to complain. This complaint needs to be in writing, either by post or by email. If you do not receive a response within 30 days, you can complain to the ICO.
